Inservice Overview

Infection control is an important part of safe home health care. Home health staff enter different home environments, provide direct patient care, handle supplies, assist with patient teaching, and may encounter wounds, respiratory symptoms, urinary symptoms, catheter care needs, soiled linens, and other infection risks.

This Agency Inservice Library packet is designed to support staff education on infection control, hand hygiene, standard precautions, clean supply handling, symptom reporting, and documentation reminders in the home health setting.
