Skilled nurse educated the patient on the importance of monitoring for warning signs requiring immediate medical attention, including persistent or severe chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, or diaphoresis. The patient was instructed to call 911 or seek emergency medical care if chest pain does not resolve with rest or prescribed medications.
Skilled nurse reinforced the importance of limiting exertion as tolerated, adhering to the prescribed medication regimen, and promptly reporting any new or worsening symptoms to the primary care provider. Patient verbalized understanding of education provided.
